What We Store
WetRoulette uses browser localStorage — not traditional cookies — for a minimal set of functional purposes. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.
Our LocalStorage Keys

These keys are set only when you start a video chat session. They never leave your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
Third-Party Storage
When you use the video chat, third-party services may set their own cookies or localStorage entries:
- CooMeet — sets storage entries prefixed with
coomeetorcm_to manage your video session. These are cleared automatically before each new session to prevent stale data. - Google Fonts — Google may set cookies when loading our fonts (Fraunces, DM Sans). These are Google's cookies and governed by Google's privacy policy.
- flagcdn.com — loads flag images for the language selector. No cookies are set by this service.
How to Clear or Opt Out
To remove any stored data from your device:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → Cookies and site data
- Safari: Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Clear Data
- Mobile Safari (iPhone): Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data → Remove All
Because we use only functional localStorage (not advertising cookies), there is no opt-out mechanism needed for our own storage — clearing your browser data is sufficient.
